Services:
Established in 1970 Youthline is the first point of contact for thousands of young people seeking help each year, providing immediate support, development opportunities and counselling referral resources.

Youthline has grown into a multi-faceted social service working with and for young people and their families in the community to reduce the isolation, fear and violence within society.

Youthline is a charitable organisation specialising in youth services including phone, face-to-face and family counselling, an on-site school, youth information facilities and youth development programmes.

Youthline is a Youth development organisation. Youth development is about being connected, having quality relationships, fostering participation and being able to access good information.

Youthline delivers a number of clinical services to the community in the following areas: education, counselling, family therapy, email counselling, pregnancy counselling, mentoring and support via a Help line. In order to provide young people with the highest quality service, and meet the demands for evidence based practice, Youthline has undertaken a project which delivers empirically-supported interventions to young people and their families.

Youthline services reflect the principle that the welfare and interests of the child or young person are the first and paramount consideration.

Youthline’s vision is to create communities which relate to the needs of young people, respond to them, and support them to achieve their potential.
